Radio-Ready Music Mastering

Groove. Tone. Clarity. Texture. Translation.

Whew! Your music is almost FINISHED!

You have no doubt come a long way from songwriting all the way through mixing. This is the final, crucial 15% of a long creative process.

Mastering is what separates your music from the rest, and gets it ready for duplication and distribution. From here, your songs will represent you as an artist.

After mastering with Mark, your songs will:

Sound competitive when played on most systems, including in mono and on headphones
Have appropriate loudness, frequency response, wideness, etc. for their genre
Have the tone, texture, punch, and groove that you want dialed in.

I dress your music up in its Sunday best. I make sure it's not harsh, fatiguing, muddy, or 'amateur-sounding.' I've spent years developing my studio 'lab' to give you the assurance that 'what you hear is what they'll get.'

Most music benefits from one final pass to bring out subtle nuances that will engage and delight listeners for years. At the other end, some music needs complete restoration just to be listenable, and that's ok too!

Now is the time. You don’t want to feel later like there was more you could have done for the sonics of your record!

Unlike a lot of online mastering services, I care about the TONE and BALANCE of your music so I offer two options:

Master from a stereo 2-track (standard service)
Mix and master from up to 5 group outputs (stem service)

2 outputs: one 24-bit WAV and one m4a-AAC 320k
Full metadata encoding from your submitted info
1 session recall included (2 included with Stem Mastering)
48-hour turnaround (or less) for initial output

Additional outputs (CD, MP3, FLAC, Tidal, 44k/48k conversions, etc.)
Additional session recalls (1 included FREE)
Audio restoration, timestretching, or extensive editing
Remastering (submitting a new mix)
Rush service (24 hours per revision)
DDP preparation / album sequencing (for CD duplication)
Vinyl master preparation & sequencing

You will receive the highest-quality, carefully dithered stereo outputs, all with full metadata. You'll be ready for streaming, downloading, duplication, and any other outlet.

RobertLarow 150x150 - Welcome

Mark has been a trusted go-to for me for many years on all things related to mixing, mastering, acoustics and gear. There are very few people I’ve worked with over my 20 years producing in the industry who have the same work ethic, musical sensibilities and dedication to the art and pursuit of knowledge of their craft; a trait seen less and less frequently these days.

Working with Mark has been an exceptional experience. He is a master of his craft and he also has the sensibility of a great, relevant musician/artist. When he mentions being true to the vision of the client, he means it. He really cares, he really gets INSIDE your music.

PigeonThieves 1024x768 1 150x150 - Welcome

Our album was a mix of many styles, and Mark met each one with skillfulness and flexibility. He was very thorough, and worked very hard on getting our songs to sound in ways that we liked. He really cared about our project, was patient, and went the extra mile to create high quality work, for which we are very grateful.

-Kevin & Ruta, Pigeon Thieves

Mark always delivered. Even when that meant crazy hours, and impossible requests.

Working with Mark is awesome. He has a deep knowledge of sound and a ton of experience. He’s an excellent listener and delivered exactly what I asked for. I’ve worked with him on multiple projects including a commercial, on which he went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and all before deadline. I can’t recommend Mark enough!
